Baby Bunting for Eric Alexandru

Keeping it rolling, did a wee craft for lovely Andreea's baby boy; Eric Alexandru, who was born on the 15/02/13.

Wanted to give them a present that will grow with their babby. Made of felt, foam sheets, material tape, buttons, ribbon, twine, super duper glue and wooden clothes pegs (the tiniest ones I could find!)

Valentine's Day '13

Uurrr arrrrrghhh!
Made Victor a Chewbacca in a photo frame for Valentines.
Foam sheet, paper, inky pen, ribbon, beads, cardboard, glue and cotton wool.
Photo frame from lovely Ikea.
So HAPPY to get back into crafts!! Here's hoping that more will follow :D

2013: Held hostage in Horezu!

Got the chance to spend New Year in Horezu with Victor and his friends... Which I hesitantly took... (five couples... in the mountains... Rom Com or violent Slasher movie??)
However, I needn't have worried! Had a fantastic break from the city, experienced real Romanian countryside, saw some beautiful sights, old churches and partied Romanian style to bring in the new year!

Just like Ireland!

Pottery shop in Horezu... TAKE ALL MY MONEY.
1st of Jan; Carnival dress up :)

I did well! Had some self control when buying...!

Christmas 2012 in Bucharest

A belated Christmas post.......!
Had a memorable Christmas in Bucharest with my good beour, Gabi.
To sum up;
Food to feed an army
Hot wine and chocolate
Naps
Sledging

Here are a few close ups of ice and myself and Gabi being lovely.

Myself, in all my fear factor glory...

Lovely Gabi, who adopted me for Chrismtas... Remember, Kelleys are not just for Christmas!

Beginning to look and feel like Christmas...!

I remember how I was complaining how the weather was too hot.... well you will never guess what I was complaining about now! However, it does look incredibly pretty. Glittery, fluffy snow everywhere is still such a novelty to me (after years of grey slush back in Ireland). Thankfully, the lovely Victor acted as my tour guide and took me to the best places around Unirii to get some wintry snaps.

Bucharest Christmas markets! Light up
buildings and slouchy trees :)

Return to Radom '12

I had spent four months out of Poland and the withdrawal was hitting in. Lucky for me, my mid term break fell on the same date as lovely Little Monika's wedding! Flight: BOOKED.
Got to experience a Polish wedding
See all my friends
Eat and drink my own body weight
End of Polish cravings... for now!

I flew in the same day as the wedding, meaning I was drinking as much coffee as vodka (or Russian coffees!), however I kept my high heels on, caught up with all the lovely ladies of Radom and even kept myself together (barely) to catch the veil!
Not much can be said after that. Tiredness hit, sat on the take away cake in the taxi home and did not make it to the Sunday after party.
Zdrowie!

 Step 1: Drink Vodka

Step 2:
Get veil

Step 3:
Dance off

Step 4:
Repeat 1-3

Predeal Teambuilding (and fresh air!)

All has being going fantastically well at my new school! So, at the beginning of November, the directors organised a weekend away in the Predeal Mountains for some team building (ATV riding, zip-lining, charades and lots of shameless dancing), R&R and head space. Here are just a few shots...

Came to the realisation that I could very easily live in a forest... Like a squirrel person.
